Saint Andrew's Day School offers rolling preschool admissions throughout the year, giving families the flexibility to enroll their child once they turn 3 or 4 years old, subject to available space and the school’s assessment of the child’s readiness. Readiness includes 3 and 4 year-olds being completely bathroom independent by the desired start date. Saint Andrew's follows the state and county guidelines as a birthday "on or by September 1st" for Kindergarten start.

Birthdays September 2–November 30: Students who enroll during these dates will be enrolled for the remainder of the current school year. At the conclusion of the school year, the school will evaluate the student’s readiness to progress to the next level. Based on this evaluation, the student may either advance to the next level or be reclassed to repeat the current level for the following school year.

Birthdays December 1 or later: Students with birthdays on or after December 1 who are approved for enrollment during the current academic year will be required to enter into a multi-year enrollment contract with the school (tuition will be pro-rated for the first year). Families acknowledge that, as part of the student’s progression through the Early Childhood program, the student will be required to repeat one of the program’s levels/years before advancing to the next division.
For participation in our pre-kindergarten program, children are expected to be toilet trained and independently able to manage their basic bathroom needs. We recognize that occasional accidents are a normal part of early childhood development and will always respond to children with patience, dignity, and care.
